St George’s Cathedral’s Burt Memorial Hall is probably one of the largest, and certainly amongst the earliest, WWI War Memorials in Australia.
Presented by Mr Julian Burt, a direct descendant of the Burt family, this talk will reveal the sad story of Theodore and Francis Burt, killed in action, and their parents’ determination to have a memorial to them which would be useful to the community.
This event is part of the Heritage Perth Walk & Talk series.
