Chopin Waltzes by Candlelight

Joy for the spirit! Perth’s own concert pianist, Mark Coughlan, plays all Chopin’s Waltzes on the Cathedral’s stunning Fazioli grand piano in a candle-lit setting.

The piano was generously gifted to St George’s Cathedral 3 years ago. Mark flew to Venice to choose the ideal Fazioli for the Cathedral’s acoustic, unveiling the beautiful hand-crafted instrument at a solo concert in May 2019. Chopin’s Waltzes by Candlelight will be Mark Coughlan’s first performance on the Fazioli since the unveiling.
