Following her recent impressive exhibition ‘Belong’ at the WA Museum, Boola Bardip, Martine Perret showcases a selection of her aerial photographs, in which WA’s unique landscape is revealed with extraordinary vision, giving a new perspective o ancient landforms.

Perret became interested in aerial photography while working as a UN photographer covering peacekeeping missions in conflict zones such as Burundi, the Democratic Republic of The Congo, Timor-Leste, South Sudan and West Africa documenting the Ebola crisis response.

The selected 14 photographs in ‘Above’ were taken during flights over the Goldfields-Esperance, Gascoyne, North Midlands, Midwest and Kimberley regions.
