Art Collective WA hosts Vanessa Russ’ Dimond Gorge exhibition, opening Saturday 29 May 2-4PM.

Country and cultural memory are the expansive territories traversed by Vanessa Russ’ meandering ink drawings, that powerfully connect her to her place of birth in Western Australia’s Kimberley region. In this new body of work she revisits these ongoing connections, based on a camping trip with her father and brother at Dimond Gorge (pronounced Diamond) on the Gibb River Road.
